This shelter was part of the “Blasco Ibáñez” school group, in the playground area.

The Blasco Ibáñez school group was demolished in the 40s; In 1952, on the site it occupied, the Jesús y María school was built. In the courtyard of the latter is currently preserved the shelter that has been used for many years as a warehouse.

The refuge situation plans are preserved. It corresponds to the vaulted model and has a rectangular floor plan with two access ramps at opposite ends. In the cross section you can see the two vaults that cover the two galleries. One of the ramps is currently walled and the other preserves the sign indicating the date of construction (1938). It preserves the benches running along the two galleries, as well as remains of the vents open in the vaults and some remains of the external part of them in the garden.
