Do you like plants? Do the little ones in the house know how to take care of them? Are the leaves falling off? Is it yellow? Have you been sad for days? These and other issues can be resolved immediately thanks to the new plant office of the Valencia City Council. Because having a plant is not only a matter of beauty and decoration, the importance of its care is vital if we want them to be healthy in each season of the year.

Coming from a true “Plant Hospital”, NaTuria brings its specialist, “Doctor Planta”, to solve all those doubts that society has regarding the cultivation of its pots and other natural ornaments.

The Plant Office is a pioneering initiative that will allow us to offer an answer to the doubts and diseases that plants have. The citizen can visit the NaTuria facilities with their own plant (either a small pot, a leaf, a cutting, a stem, etc.), or make a consultation by sending an email and attaching images so that the doctor can make the diagnosis of their treatment. A good opportunity for children to learn techniques around floriculture and horticulture and take responsibility for caring for nature.

Doctor Planta passes consultation

Every Monday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., a municipal technician expert in the field, and who has been referred to as "Doctor Planta", you will receive a visit -completely free of charge- of the plants that citizens bring to NaTuria in order to obtain a safer diagnosis of their disease or condition.

If the plant is very large or grown in a garden, you can take a photograph, leaves or a branch to detect possible symptoms.

The consultation focuses on offering solutions, from an ecological and professional point of view, on the care and attention of plants both private and municipal.

In addition, this new municipal service offers the possibility of virtual consultations by sending an email that includes photographs in order to facilitate the best diagnosis: drplanta.naturia@gmail.com
