Institut Français

The Institut Français de Valencia is a French institute established in Valencia in Spain, since 1888 as a school.

Formerly located in the Ruzafa neighborhood, Calle San Valero, it was moved in January 2001 to a new building in the heart of the old quarter of the city, Calle Moro Zeit. The IFV is part of the network of French cultural centres abroad and depends on the Institut Français d’Espanya and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE).

The Institut Français of Valencia announced its new image in January 2012. New logo, new network (6 institutes in Spain), new devices, new national platforms for greater dynamism of the official teaching of French in Spain, new annex building to expand our reception capacity.

The INSTITUT FRANÇAIS is the new seal of quality adopted by the French Embassy to make a difference, optimize resources to ensure excellence in the training offered in Spain. The official exams offered by the Institut Français are recognized all over the world.
