The Teatro Micalet is located in the Societat Coral el Micalet, a centenary civil society with a great cultural tradition in the city of Valencia.
The old theater was built in the late 50s on Calle del Maestro Palacio in Valencia. It was a courtyard covered with uralite that sporadically hosted theater and zarzuela performances, as well as musical performances, among which we can highlight emblematic figures such as Teté Montoliu, Slide Hampton, Lou Bennet, etc. But when it was beginning to be an important cultural reference for Valencian society, it suffered a fire in August 1971 and was rebuilt and reopened in 1974.

The room has a large stage 8 meters wide at its mouth and 6 and a half at its bottom, as well as another 6 meters deep and 5 meters high. All this forming a stage box with the possibility of being entirely black or of housing a cyclorama or a large projection screen in its background. The stalls are located in an ascending tier that provides perfect visibility of the stage from any of its 215 comfortable seats.

The ‘Ribes Espai Universitat Popular’ is a sociocultural space belonging to the Popular University of Valencia, located in one of the industrial buildings work of the architect Demetrio Ribes, built in the early twentieth century and declared an Asset of Local Relevance -BRL-. It is a building, of 739 m² of surface, fully adapted to allow accessibility, which was inaugurated on February 15, 2020. It has two floors, with a total of 4 large classrooms for the realization of the different activities.
The Oceanogràfic is one of the spaces included in the City of Arts and Sciences. It consists of eleven buildings or underwater towers located around a large central lake. These towers are interconnected on the surface by floating walkways and landscaped paths, and on the lower level by corridors and ramps. The central cores of the towers have lifts and stairs that transport us between the two levels.

The Ice Factory, also known as La Fábrica de Hielo, is an independent creative space located on Cabanyal Beach, a meeting place for artistic creation and dissemination, which seeks to provide a new perspective to the cultural and leisure offer in the city of Valencia.
The Ice Factory is characterized by its eclecticism, combining different areas -educational and cultural- and different artistic disciplines -music, dance, circus, literature, cinema, plastic arts, architecture, theater, etc.- under common criteria of quality and plurality.
During the Middle Ages, wood artisans were very important social agents for the use of this raw material for the construction of houses, boats, tools and the vast majority of containers and objects of daily use.
In Valencia, the River Turia represented a direct route of arrival of wood from the mountainous regions of Cuenca, Teruel or Ademuz and, after the Christian conquest of the old Kingdom, one of the first guilds of carpenters was created. In fact, on January 17, 1.242, the Distribution Book already assigned to the master carpenter Guillem Francolí two workshops in front of the Church of San Martín in Valencia, a parish where workshops of other wood craftsmen were installed and it became a guild headquarters until 1,479, when the Valencian wood craftsmen themselves raised the Balmes Palace for the meetings of the “Carpenters’ Brotherhood and Trade”.
