CULTURA A LES PEDANIES >is a project of the Valencia City Council, born from the desire to bring to the citizens of these special centers of population a wide range of quality cultural proposals under equal conditions as in the rest of the spaces from the city.
The singularity of the pedanias, often configured as small villages with different socio-cultural dynamics compared to Cap i Casal, offers the possibility of making the streets and squares valuable as spaces for cultural uses; neighborhoods to which we address this proposal for active participation to highlight areas and people, with the common language of culture in all its diversity of forms and proposals.
The democratization of culture takes shape through the pedanias in this initiative with which, from the Culture Area of the Valencia City Council, it is intended to support decentralized management and the increase in the cultural offer of the North, South and West districts, with a program of more than 50 free and outdoor activities.
