‘Balconies with history’

‘Balconies with history’ is the new proposal of the Delegation of Cultural Heritage and Resources of the City of Valencia, within the campaign ‘Museus a casa’, to bring the museums of and culture of the city to the houses of the citizens.

This time, in collaboration with the teams of educators, a series of stories is launched through the social network Instagram, to tell aspects about the balconies of the museums of Valencia. The aim of this is to propose a new way of bringing the gaze of the old inhabitants of these balconies to society: the view of the Town Hall Square, the river that Benlliure saw, the Malvarrosa beach that inspired Blasco Ibáñez…

Again from home, people will be able to see all the curiosities hidden in the museums and continue to feed on culture despite the confinement, a consequence of the health crisis.
