The cycle Cambra al Palau that takes place in the Almudí, returns with force after the summer break. The bandoneon Daniel Binelli and the pianist Polly Ferman, two musicians considered references in tango, will offer a program in an Argentine key, with the teachers of the Orchestra of Valencia, the violinists Néstor Luciano Casalino and Casandra Didu, the viola Pilar Marín, viola; cellist Gustavo Nardi and double bass Javier Sapiña. In this way, the audience will be able to listen to Triunfal, the Troilean Suite, Oblivion and Libertango by Astor Piazzola, as well as Homenaje al tango by Daniel Binelli himself. Since their debut in 2000 in New York, they have also performed in Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Rome, Paris, Munich, Bern and St. Petersburg.

The Valencia Orchestra returns to the Almudín to perform, conducted by the prestigious musician Sreten Krstić, concertmaster of the Munich Philharmonic, an ambitious chamber programme with Romantic masterpieces such as the famous Egmont overture by Ludwig van Beethoven, the beautiful Serenade for Strings by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and a youthful work by Felix Mendelssohn, the Concerto for violin and orchestra in D minor, which he wrote when he was only thirteen years old, and which will be played by Raúl Arias, violin teacher of the same orchestra.

The flute and cello soloists of the Valencia Orchestra, Salvador Martínez and Ivan Balaguer, with pianist Carlos Apellániz, will take to the stage of the Almodí to star in the new event of the cycle “Cambra al Palau”. In this way, the public will be able to listen to a program of great beauty and technical and interpretative complexity that covers the Baroque, Romanticism and Neobaroque, with the 6 Variations on “Schone Minka” and Rondo Finale by Johann N. Hummel, the trio in G minor by Carl Maria von Weber, the 12 Variations on “The Magic Flute”, Ludwig van Beethoven’s Op. 66 and Bohuslav Martinu’s Trio H 300 for flute, cello and piano.

The Orchestra of Valencia participates again in the Ensems Festival, now in its 45th edition. The Valencian symphonic ensemble will be debuted by Asturian conductor Nacho de Paz, who is considered a specialist in contemporary repertoire. In the program you can hear two world premieres, the first the work “Mutatis mutandis” by Fran Barajas, who was the young composer chosen by Francisco Coll, in the meetings that Coll captained when he was a resident at the Palau de la Música. The second will be “Del vermell de l’agalla” by Àngela Gómez, commissioned by IVC. “Lontano” by Hungarian author György Ligeti and Symphony No. 3 by the Polish Witold Lutoslawski, complete this program that will not leave anyone indifferent, full of rhythms and orchestral color.

Soprano Consuelo Hueso and pianist Renata Casero will be the protagonists of the new event in the cycle “Cambra al Palau”, which takes place in the Almodí and is organized by the Palau de la Música.
