The Blasco Ibáñez House Museum opens a new temporary exhibition

On Thursday 18 April, the exhibition La mirada literaria: retratos de Néstor Dámaso del Pino will open at the Blasco Ibáñez House Museum, which can be visited until mid-December 2024.

Through some forty caricatures by the Canarian cartoonist Néstor Dámaso del Pino, the exhibition presents us with an imaginary world where some of the most important writers, both Spanish and foreign, from different periods, live side by side. This amusing look at the great figures of the world of letters facilitates the exhibition of a series of letters, autographed texts and attractive editions that not only verify the personal and professional relationship with the characters represented by Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, but also place the Valencian novelist in a privileged position.

At the same opening ceremony, it will also be possible to contemplate the renewed exhibition discourse in the garden of the House Museum, which, with the title Blasco Ibáñez to American cinema, highlights one of the aspects that consolidated the writer’s international prestige.
