Exhibition ‘The light of mental health’ Association ACOVA

From today the Atarazanas del Grao are showing the exhibition ‘The light of mental health’ by the ACOVA Association (Ayuda a personas con problemas de salud mental). The initial idea of the project arises from the need to give visibility to the skills and training-labour and creative possibilities of this group.
The exhibition displays 25 sculptures that are the material result of a creative and participatory process, symbolically representing the light towards the recovery of mental health.
In addition, the following activities and workshops will be held during the month of October:
- Tuesday 1 October: 11:30 a.m. Video forum – Colloquium with speakers.
- Thursday 3 October: 11:30 ‘Let’s talk about mental health’ for children aged 10 to 12.
- Thursday 10 October: 11:30 ‘Art and mental health’ colloquium.
- Tuesday 15th October: 11:30 Ceramics workshop. Functional diversity.
- Wednesday 16th October: 11:30am Symposium ‘Mental health and youth’.
- Tuesday 22nd October: 11:30 Ceramics workshop. Functional diversity.
- Thursday 24 October: 16:30 Videoforum.
The exhibition can be visited during the monument’s usual opening hours, from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 19:00, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 to 14:00.
Admission is free.
