This day is commemorated at the initiative of the European Commission with the philosophy of dedicating a day to promote musical diversity, encouraging musicians across Europe to share their work in the streets, free of charge and open to all audiences. At the same time, it aims to foster and facilitate cultural exchange through music.
These objectives align with the strategic lines of Valencia Music City, so this strategy joins the European Music Day celebrations with the following program of activities.
