We have an exciting special Easter 2024 children’s programme at the Museu d’Història de València!
We have entitled them: La tarara sí, la tarara….
These activities are designed for children aged 5 to 10, but younger children accompanied by their parents or guardians are welcome to attend.
All activities are FREE, have limited capacity and booking is required by calling 963 701 105.
- Wednesday, 3rd April / 12 noon “Easter Egg Hunt”.
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Description: Participants will search for hidden Easter eggs in the museum, then learn how to decorate them. The evolution of the tradition of giving eggs as gifts during the celebrations will be explored, from the Middle Ages to the present day.
- Thursday, 4 April / 12 noon “A bunny in the museum”.
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Description: Children will discover the history and symbolism of the Easter bunny in different cultures. They will then make a craft related to this theme to take home as a souvenir.
- Friday, 5 April / 12 noon “Playing as in the past”.
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Description: Participants will learn about the history of the spinning top, an ancient toy used in Ancient Rome and Greece. They will also have the opportunity to design and make a wooden spinning top to take home.
