Library specialized in women and gender studies, dependent on the General Directorate of the Valencian Institute of Women and for Gender Equality, with offices in Alicante, Castellón and Valencia, was created in 1988 with a double objective: to promote and favor the study and research on women through bibliographic and documentary information and to ensure that the women of the Valencian Community find in them their own space in which female writing was disseminated.
