The Library of the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia is specialized in art and its collections, which include all kinds of documents on the art produced from the Middle Ages to the present, insist on Valencian art and with special relevance to painting. In fact, this library is considered specialized in Valencian Gothic painting due to the weight that this artistic period has within the Painting collection of the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia.

Valencian Courts Library
The Library of the Valencian Parliament is at the service of the deputies, and the staff of the Valencian Parliament. It is also accessible, upon application for the researcher card, to the staff of the Generalitat Valenciana and to civil servants.
Benimàmet Library – Teodor Llorente
Library opened on April 11, 2004. Located in the chalet of Panach that was the summer residence of the Gil Panach family from which it takes its name. Built between 1840 and 1900, it consisted of the summer residence and around it 6,000 m² of garden and orchard. Today the area around the central building has been conditioned for children’s games and a place for walking and recreation.
Municipal Historical Library
Created in 1902 on an old bibliographic collection, this library is enriched over the years, with the works acquired by the Valencian Municipal Corporation and above all, by the valuable donations that illustrious Valencians have given to the City.
The library is public, of a general nature, with special attention to Valencian subjects.
The historical and current collections exceed 130,000 volumes, with incunabula, manuscripts, books from the sixteenth to the twentieth centuries, unique copies or copies of bibliographic rarity, numerous brochures and loose leaves, prints and engravings, posters, scores, etc.
Castellar-l’Oliveral Library – Matilde Ramos
Library inaugurated on May 9, 2018. It is located on the third floor of the Civic Center La Cebera, headquarters of the Mayor’s Office Pedania, and other municipal services, such as the Popular University, the Center for the Elderly and the Municipal Board.
Biblioteca Històrica de la Universitat de València
La Biblioteca Històrica de la Universitat de València es troba en el Centre Cultural de La Nau, i conté un extens catàleg bibliogràfic el qual ha anat patint variacions al llarg dels convulsos períodes històrics en València. L’origen de la Biblioteca es remunta a la donació, en 1785, dels llibres de l’insigne valencià Don Francisco Pérez Bayer. Es va inaugurar en 1788, sent rector Don Vicente Blasco. Seguint este generós exemple, altres catedràtics varen oferir fons de les seues biblioteques per engrossir la naixent “llibreria” universitària. Lamentablement, durant la Invasió Napoleònica, una bomba va caure sobre l’edifici de la Universitat i va provocar un incendi en el qual es va perdre la major part d’este fons fundacional.
Esta catàstrofe va servir d’estímul a rectors, catedràtics i patricis valencians, els quals van refer la Biblioteca, llegant les seues col·leccions particulars. La Universitat, per la seua part, va dur a terme una política de compra que va servir per engrossir el seu ja nodrit fons i posteriorment varen arribar altres donacions importants.
La Biblioteca Universitària va ser, durant i després de la Guerra Civil, dipositària dels llibres requisats a particulars i institucions, que constituixen un fons de gran utilitat per a l’estudi de la Història Social i les Arts Gràfiques d’eixa època. És digna de menció la col·lecció de cartells de la Guerra Civil espanyola.
