Mundo Obrero és una història d’amor. Pilar i Luis són dos enamorats que vénen del camp. De la fam necessària per a l’existència del latifundi. Dos enamorats que, de generació en generació, al llarg del temps (en la República, contra la dictadura, sota el consens, imaginant sempre una democràcia encara per vindre), defensaran sempre, front a les diferents fams el seu amor sense fi.
