The Sociedad Unión Musical de Polop de la Marina de Alicante, under the direction of José Vicente Algado Climent, and with a total of 371.5 points, has been the winner of Section Three of the 135th International Wind Band Contest “City of Valencia” 2023, which takes place in Les Arts. The Banda Sinfónica Especial Escuela de Música de Bello de Colombia, has been in second position with 290 points, while the Unión Musical de Algimia de Valencia has occupied the third place with 271 points.
The Centro Artístico Cultural “Virgen de la Paz” of August of Alicante, under the direction of José Vicente Algado Climent, and with a total of 322.5 points, has been the winner of the Second Section of the 135th International Wind Band Contest “City of Valencia” 2023, which takes place in the Auditori de Les Arts. The Sociedade Musical de Pevidém of Portugal, has been in second position with 303.5 points, while the Agullent Music Association of Valencia has occupied the third place with 281.5 points.
The Societat Musical “La Primitiva” of Rafelbunyol, under the direction of Ximo Tarín Micó, and with a total of 294.5 points, has been the winner of the First Section of the 135th International Wind Band Contest “City of Valencia” 2023, which takes place in the Auditori de Les Arts. The Associação Recreativa e Musical Amigos da Branca de Portugal, has been in second place with 286 points, while the Alteanense Philharmonic Society has occupied the third place with 278.5 points.
The Unió Musical de Godelleta, under the direction of Jesús Perelló Fuster and the Unió Musical de Torrent, under the direction of Frank de Vuyst, with a total of 342 points, was both the Ex Aequo winners of the Honorary Division of the 135th International Wind Band Contest “City of Valencia” 2023, which takes place in the Auditori de Les Arts. The Asociación Músico-Cultural “La Lira de Pozuelo” of Madrid, has been in second position with 320.5 points, while the Societat Unió Musical d’Alberic has occupied the third place with 299 points.
